Easy Homemade Churros with Chocolate Recipe

1. We put the flour in a large bowl. In a saucepan we heat the water with salt

2. When the water starts to boil, we pour it directly, and at once on the flour. With a wooden spoon, we integrate the flour with the water. We will have a very sticky and quite compact dough.

3. Introduce this dough in a churrera or pastry bag.

4. We’re making the churros portions (a length of about 4 inches) then we put the dough on a kitchen towel.

5. Heat 3 to 4 inches of vegetable oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot set over medium-high heat until it reaches 375ºF

6. Fry the dough them until they’re golden brown and cooked through.

7. Transfer the churros to the paper towel-lined plate to drain for 2 minutes.

8. We serve sprinkled with white sugar or glass sugar (powder).
